2008-03-29 EMERGING FROM THE BLOOD... THE NEW ALBUM UNREPENTANT IS PROCLAIMED
Thy Flesh Consumed has nearly finished writing the new album, titled UNREPENTANT. Plans to strike the studio late spring/early summer have inspired the Heretic War Machine to have all cylinders on overdrive leading up to and during the impious event.
UNREPENTANT's theme is of detestation towards belief systems void of fact or evidence to support them, worldly sanctimonious warfare, the hollow power known as faith and how the world adheres to archaic concepts and upholds tyrants (past and present) who ravage the earth in the names of their gods.
We will be offering eleven detonations of some of our most furious and diabolically detailed songs thus far in our armament.

2007-06-17 VICTORIOUS DAMNATION 2007 REPORT
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the shows during our weekend hostility across Eastern Canada. We all had a great time blasting, and partying with everyone. It was great to meet new people and to run into old friends.
Horns up to Tombstone Stares, Rebecca's Grave, Dismemberment, Mass Annihilation, New Abortion, The Sleep, Shatterpoint, Covenance, Bloodshoteye and Dying Fetus for kicking our heads in with their musick!!!
Special thanks goes out to Noel from Inertia Entertainment and PJ at the Paramount for setting up Victorious Damnation 2007. Iconoclastic fists raised high for Luc from Dischord (the mad driver!), Dave Lemurie and to Shar and Shannon for giving us a place to crash after the shows. Last but not least, glorification to the Burns family once again for their astounding hospitality, food, beer and friendship.
And, because life is no fun without being immersed in chaos... While heading home to Halifax on the 20 East highway, the back left tire on our van decided to break off. Gerald's driving saved the day, and luckly there were no cars or transport trucks around us when this happened. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere just outside Quebec city that night for over an hour trying to diagnose the problem and fix it, before we made a call and William from Esso came and picked us up. We ended up at a local bar (thanks Peggy!), shooting pool and feeding countless quarters into the jukebox, then slept inside and atop the van behind the gas station.
After acting like a bunch of asses in the little community known as Saint Nicholas for most of the waking day, the van was repaired (thanks Pierre-Luc!) and we began the rest of our trip home...

2005-12-13 THE ENGINE HAS STARTED ONCE AGAIN. ONWARD HERETIC WAR MACHINE
There is refreshing news here at the TFC grind camp. We have changed producers, because
nothing was being produced!
Our new producer is Gord Ash. All hail Gord!
We ran into a few obstacles with the new arrangement involving file conversions and harddrive
complications. Those obstacles have now been conquered.
Gord, Dave and Ross will work on a bass sound this week, then record the bass tracks this
weekend. We all can't wait to hear what Ross will do on this recording, especially since it's his first
one with Thy Flesh Consumed. His energy and enthusiasm with the new material has helped push
the song writing further, and has made our over all performance tighter.
We just recently celebrated our one year with Ross, and his birthday just passed on the 3rd.
Over the next 2-3 weeks we will work on guitar sounds and guitar track recordings. Dan and Dave
have a plethora of cataclysmic riffs which they are just itching to capture onto disc. They have also
split up the work with rhythms and the cold harmonies, making each song as dimensional as
possible. Something great about this album is that we all have contributed to the song writing.
Once all the instruments have been recorded, I will finish off the recording with a wall of vocals.
As on our previous recordings, I will layer both the low end growls and grunts with the high end
banshee shrieks. I will make this next vocal onslaught very interesting. In addition, Ross and Dave
will make vocal appearances on a couple songs.
We have confirmation that the album will be mixed by Gord Ash at Cromagnon and mastered by J. LaPointe at Archive Mastering.

2005-09-28 PACIFIED BY OCEANS OF BLOOD STUDIO REPORT
Jon Hutt and J. LaPointe recorded all of the drum tracks August 21 at Archive Mastering.
We spent the entire day smashing out all the new songs, starting at 11am and ending around 10pm.
The foundation for the eleven new songs has been set, and things are sounding great.
Since then the recording has been delayed as we have been waiting to receive a pre-amp through
the mail. The pre-amp is needed to record everything else. We just found out yesterday that it is on
route. The plan is to mix the drum tracks, then begin recording the guitars.
While waiting for things to continue with the new recording, we have come up with some new ideas
for a few songs, so some good has come from the grueling inactivity.

2005-05-27 NEW ALBUM'S CROWNING TITLE: PACIFIED BY OCEANS OF BLOOD
We have been very busy in the rehearsal room writing new songs for our next full-length album.
The next album titled PACIFIED BY OCEANS OF BLOOD is closer to becoming a reality. We have
seven songs finished, another three without lyrics and an eleventh one that we’ve just about finalized
the song structure for. Our twisted fusion of black and death metal has resulted in quite a varied
collection of songs. Each song is utterly relentless; none short of blast beats and all are
peppered with very heavy moments. The lyrical themes are chalked full of contempt towards the
errors of our world.

We plan on striking the recording studio as soon as everything is written. We are very excited to
record; we won't be rushed this time as we were during our previous recording for
END OF BLIND OBEDIENCE. The plan is to start laying the drum tracks down sometime in July.
We also have a new logo in the works. We'll post it the moment it's finished.
More information will be posted over the next few weeks regarding studio progress, artwork and
what label will be releasing the new disc.
Our next collaboration of sonic annihilation is sure to pacify all until the succeeding bloodletting...
